Elmo Pillowcase Dress

A dear friend of ours has a beautiful little girl.  Gracey is in love with Seasame Street.  She loves Abby Cadabby & Elmo the best.  For Halloween Gracey decided to be Abby Cadabby so a shirt had to be done!  Abby Cadabby was appliqued onto a shirt for Miss Gracey.  Well, Gracey's birthday is just around the corner.  She'll be turning 2 this year.  Her party is Elmo themed so a dress was the ticket.  The above dress was what we came up with.  Lots of fun to create something for precious Gracey!

We are beginning to take orders for Christmas now.  The pictures above are the options we're offering for appliques this holiday season.  If you would like a shirt, please email us at theownbyfamily@gmail.com.  Specifiy which applique you would like & what type shirt (color, size, crew/turtle neck, etc).  Also, please note that fabrics are always up to you.  If you like the fabrics in the pictures, we can do that or they can be changed to meet what you're looking for.  We look forward to serving you!

We just want to let all of you know that what you see in the picture is the design we are advertising.  That does not necessarily mean that the shirt will be crewneck, white, or long sleeve.  When you place an order with us PLEASE specify what you want in a shirt!  If you don't mind it being slightly different, let us know that too.  We try to stick as closely as possible to the picture you see however when we go to buy shirts, the store may not have them in exactly what we want so modifications must be made.  We want to please all of our customers & we appreciate your business more than you'll ever know!  We want all of you to be happy with the outcome you see.  Thank you so much!  Have a great weekend!

Christmas is just around the corner

Here is a preview of what we have for Christmas for the girls...  This shirt comes in any letter of the alphabet.  We'll post the one we have for boys in the next few days.

For our sweet boy

These were the very first projects we did for our baby.  Since monogramming is usually so geared toward girls, we tried to create something just for him.  For boys, we also have several fire themed items (since, afterall, Barry is a firefighter), sports, tractor, & UT, UGA, Auburn, & Alabama appliques.  The sports appliques can only be used on sizes 24mo & up.

Market Totes

 We love Market Totes!  The large size will hold up to a 9x13 pan.  It is so nice to be able to put all sorts of things in one & take it along to wherever we go.  The mini market totes are perfect for a baby gift & stuffing it with all sorts of fun items.  We also have insulated tote bags, bookbags, lunch boxes, tea towels (plain & Christmas), jute bags, & just about ANYTHING you can think of!

Don't you just LOVE Fall???!!!  We sure do around our house!  November is our favorite month in the season because of Thanksgiving.  It reminds us to be thankful for all we've been given in this life.
